Job summary

Aramco is seeking a Power Service Technician to join its Power Operations. The role requires relocation to Saudi Arabia and offers an attractive relocation package.

The successful candidate will perform installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance across high and medium voltage equipment in substations and power plants. Ideal candidates have at least 12 years in power systems with knowledge of U.S.

Qualifications

• Diploma/industrial degree in electrical field; B.S. degree preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years in power system construction, commissioning, maintenance and operation with emphasis on transmission and distribution.
• Certified for Basic Life Support/FA, Fire Protection, Work Permit Receiver, cable splicing & potential test preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, installation, commissioning, testing, repairs and troubleshooting on 480 V to 230 kV switchgear, breakers, transformers, disconnects and substation systems.
• Test equipment use: transformer turns ratio, insulation resistance, dielectric tests; install/maintain HV cables and perform splicing and terminations.
• Perform commissioning tests on new equipment and report exceptions.
