Job summary

Merck is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Regulatory Affairs – Power Platform Solutions Specialist to hands-on support and configure the country regulatory requirements management platform within Global Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Safety.

The role uses Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI) and collaborates with a global team to deliver approved improvements. Responsibilities include engaging users, gathering requirements, configuring apps and flows, supporting

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of relevant experience in business application support, configuration, development, or business analysis with hands-on Power Platform work.
Experience configuring Power Apps and building or maintaining Power Automate flows.
Working knowledge of Dataverse tables, columns, forms, views and basic business rules.
Experience speaking with users to clarify tickets and document business needs, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

User Engagement & Business Analysis: discuss issues with users, gather examples, reproduce steps, and define acceptance criteria.
Application Build & Configuration: configure Power Apps forms, views, and automate flows per approved requirements.
Application Maintenance & Release Support: assist with pre/post-release checks and maintain release records.
Data Quality & Maintenance Support: perform routine data imports, compare source and system records, and document issues.
Defect Resolution, Testing & Production Support: reproduce issues, test changes, and document results.
