Job summary

ITCON Services is seeking a motivated Technical Lead for Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse) with extensive hands-on development experience and SDLC expertise.

The Senior Developer will architect and lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable applications, document system procedures, and mentor team members in a fast-paced Federal civilian agency environment. U.S. citizenship and Public Trust eligibility required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT systems development experience with Microsoft stack and cloud technologies.
• 5+ years in Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• 5+ years building Model-driven and Canvas Power Apps.
• Experience with metadata-driven or configuration-driven apps and version-controlled form management.
• Experience implementing multi-stage approval, certification, and compliance workflows.
• Experience designing large-scale Power Pages with external authentication and role-based security.
• Experience integrating Power Platform with external systems via APIs and data sync.
• Enterprise reporting using Power BI, Dataverse, and dimensional models.
• Azure cloud application development and full SDLC participation.
• Strong communication and agile teamwork; BA/BS in STEM or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable Power Platform-based applications.
• Translate user stories into functional code and robust architectures.
• Create system documentation and SOPs for enterprise development.
• Collaborate on estimation, requirements, and project planning.
• Define monitoring and troubleshooting methods for enterprise systems.
• Ensure security, data governance, and compliance across platforms.
• Mentor other developers and promote knowledge transfer.
• Oversee CI/CD and version control practices.
