Job summary

Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Sr. Power Platform Developer to support ECM migration in a hybrid role based in Arlington, VA.

The candidate will work with Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and Copilot to design, develop, and optimize enterprise solutions for a federal client requiring US citizenship. The role demands strong technical leadership, collaboration with customer leadership, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable Power Platform

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in at least 1 of 4 key areas relevant to Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Copilot, and migration.
5+ years developing solutions in Microsoft Power Platform (Canvas apps, Model-driven apps, Dataverse, Power BI dashboards & reports, Power Automate).
5+ years developing and customizing SharePoint Online solutions (SPFx, JSON, workflows, integration with Power Platform).
2+ years developing with Microsoft Copilot (Copilot Studio, prompt engineering, Copilot integration with Power Platform and M365 apps).
5+ years as at least two of the following: Power Platform Admin, SharePoint Admin, Azure/Entra ID Admin, Dynamics 365 Admin, Exchange Admin.
Experience with solution-based Power Platform development, including ALM and promoting solutions across DEV, QA, and PROD.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and retirement phases of Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and Copilot solutions.
Build custom applications, workflows, and automations using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SPFx, and Copilot integrations.
Develop, maintain, and optimize Copilot extensions, prompts, and conversations to improve productivity and outcomes.
Test all components independently, document tests and results.
Create test plans and transfer knowledge to QA teams.
Document solution architectures, dependencies, deployment procedures, and user guides.
Participate in code reviews for Power Platform, SharePoint, Azure Services, and custom connectors.
Mentor junior developers and ensure quality and timely completion.
Note: role may require nights/weekend migration work with comp time or flexible scheduling.
