Entergy is seeking a Superintendent Outage & Process in Mississippi to develop long-range outage plans, execute outages, and manage major capital projects within the outage stage gate framework. The role includes coordinating with plant management, ensuring cost control, safety, and schedule performance, and leading contract and vendor negotiations.

This safety-sensitive position requires pre-employment and random drug testing.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of Power Plant Maintenance related experience.
• 2 years of demonstrated experience in a Project Management leadership role.
• Power plant major component repair; AIMM; ROP, OSGP, Risk Register, Supply Chain and Accounting policies and procedures.
• EH&S policy knowledge; Compliance standards, especially Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Knowledge of industry standards related to modification of plant components and engineering standards.
• Condition Based Outage process requirements.
• Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project.
• ASME codes applicable to large power boilers and steam piping.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees long range and detailed planning and execution of unit outages according to the outage stage gate process.
• Manages cost, schedule and safety processes for outage scopes of work.
• Interfaces with Plant Management personnel to communicate and drive to resolution of key issues impacting project / outage.
• Coaches project managers as necessary to deliver expected financial, safety and schedule results on outage scopes, projects, Outage Stage Gate Reviews, ECD/CBO and 5 year budget planning.
• Oversees and manages the LTSA contracts.
• Participate in plant monthly ROP meetings.
• Understands, negotiates, and influences contract language for vendors / contractors to protect Entergy's best interest.
