Job summary

Calpine Corporation, a leading power generation company, seeks a senior maintenance leader to oversee daily and long-term equipment maintenance at a power plant in Oregon. You will ensure safety for employees, contractors, and the public while coordinating mechanical, electrical, and I&C maintenance and outages.

You will develop and manage the plant maintenance budget, supervise staff and contractors, and drive continuous improvement in reliability and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of power generation experience in gas turbine maintenance.
• Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with heavy frame combustion turbine maintenance.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and economical daily and long-term maintenance of equipment at the assigned power plant.
• Coordinate schedules and conduct mechanical, electrical, and I&C maintenance repair and preventative maintenance.
• Organize and oversee contract repair shop work and maintenance training.
• Develop and maintain computerized maintenance management program (CMMS).
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations during maintenance activities.
• Schedule materials, equipment and personnel for outages and overhauls.
• Develop budgets for the Maintenance Department and monitor expenditures.
• Manage LTSA contracts and on-site contractor performance.
• Serve as a primary decision-maker in recruiting and staff development.
