Job summary

The Bethlehem Energy Center in New York State is seeking a Senior Production Technician IC&E to lead and train technicians in maintenance of gas and steam turbine units and associated systems.

The role covers fault diagnosis, calibration, testing, and safe operation of GE MKVI, DCS, PLC, Rosemount instruments, and CEMS, with emphasis on hazard awareness, compliance, and continuous productivity improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree from accredited college preferred.
• 5+ years power generation experience preferred.
• Ability to read prints, schematics and specs; strong math/chemistry basics.
• Experience servicing instrumentation and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair GE MKVI, DCS, PLC, and instrumentation.
• Calibrate and maintain boiler and turbine controls.
• Train junior technicians and ensure safety procedures.
• Oversee safety briefs and hazard mitigation discussions.
• Support overtime and after-hours requests when needed.
