Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Head of Power Origination to lead the commercialization and contract strategy for ARC fusion power plants. You will identify customers, structure deals, and secure long-term offtake agreements, partnering with project development, finance, legal, and engineering to translate pipeline into bankable assets.

The role requires deep market knowledge and a startup mindset to drive rapid growth and deployment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years in energy origination, sales, or marketing.
• Proven ability to originate and close long-term PPAs or equivalent contracts.
• Deep knowledge of North American wholesale power markets and market rules.

Aufgaben

• Lead origination, structuring, negotiation and execution of long-term PPAs, tolling and capacity contracts for ARC projects.
• Develop relationships with utilities, corporates, hyperscalers, and government agencies.
• Shape wholesale/retail origination strategy to secure contracted revenue and enable project financing.
• Provide leadership during procurement processes and market solicitations.
• Collaborate with project development, finance, legal, and engineering to align customer needs with economics.
• Build and mentor a high-performing origination team.
• Design innovative contract structures to manage risk and enable adoption of fusion power.
• Identify high-value markets, ISOs/RTOs, and favorable regulatory frameworks.
