Job summary

TDK Faraday Semiconductor seeks an Applications Engineer to support development, validation, and customer adoption of integrated power management ICs, including DC-DC converters. You will work with design, test, marketing, and operations throughout the product lifecycle to ensure robust characterization and effective customer deployment across enterprise, AI, industrial, and computing apps.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years’ experience in switching power supplies and/or DC-DC converter operation, buck converters included.

Responsibilities

• Participate in product development phases from definition to customer deployment.
• Drive evaluation board development, coordinate PCB layouts, and produce manufacturing documentation.
• Review customer schematics and layouts, advising on adoption with first-pass success.
• Perform electrical testing and data analysis using standard lab equipment.
• Develop and maintain automated validation/calibration scripts using Python or MATLAB.
• Create internal and customer-facing technical documentation.
