Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Hardware Engineer focused on Power Integrity in Long Beach, CA. The role emphasizes high‑reliability design for in‑space computing systems and technical leadership across electrical hardware development efforts.

You will derive requirements, create schematics, guide PCB layout, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure performance, safety, and mission assurance standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 7+ years designing high-speed PCBs.
• Strong knowledge of digital logic, signal integrity, and power circuitry.
• Experience with FPGAs/PLDs, Ethernet PHYs, high-speed memories, PLLs, voltage regulators.
• Understanding of computer and system architecture.
• Experience with board simulations and processor/DSP interfaces.
• Bring-up through production ramp experience.
• Ability to develop/ review validation and diagnostic test plans.
• Experience with lab testing and debugging.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain US Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Derive and document circuit board requirements from system-level specs.
• Create schematic drawings for high-speed PCBAs.
• Create functional and design specifications.
• Layout or guide layout of complex PCBs.
• Assist manufacturing of PCBAs when needed.
• Collaborate with signal integrity, mechanical, and power teams during design and testing.
• Develop PCB testing plans to verify performance.
• Validate designs; troubleshoot and test complex boards.
• Provide system integration and test support.
• Meet aggressive project schedules.
• Support design reviews and customer meetings.
• Contribute to proposals and trade studies evaluating feasibility.
