Job summary

Williams seeks an Engineer Senior, III, or II – Power Innovation & Project Development to support the creation of power generation, energy storage, and infrastructure projects from concept through execution. You will work across engineering, commercial, operations, and business teams to deliver innovative energy solutions aligned with Williams’ growth strategy.

Responsibilities include developing designs, cost estimates, and execution strategies, while performing technical and economic

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
  • Eight (8) years engineering experience for Senior; five (5) years for III; two (2) years for II.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of power generation, energy storage, utility infrastructure, and emerging energy projects from concept through execution.
  • Develop conceptual designs, basis-of-design documents, project schedules, execution strategies, and capital cost estimates.
  • Perform technical and economic evaluations to support project screening, technology selection, and investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with commercial, business development, operations, environmental, regulatory, and construction teams.
  • Partner with engineering consultants, EPC contractors, equipment manufacturers, utilities, and customers.
  • Support development of innovative energy solutions for industrial, data center, and infrastructure applications.
  • Identify and mitigate technical, permitting, environmental, regulatory, constructability, and schedule risks.
  • Ensure projects are developed with consideration for safety, reliability, operability, maintainability, and lifecycle performance.
