Job summary

Entergy in Sterlington, Louisiana is seeking a Training Specialist to partner with field personnel, analyze performance needs and design safety, operations and maintenance training for Power Generation personnel.

Responsibilities include ADDIE/SAT processes, course development, delivering multi-skilled training including CCCT, simulating control room operations, evaluating training effectiveness, and maintaining training materials with LMS and SharePoint, with travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, or equivalent.
• Multi Skilled Tech Training Specialist: 6+ years in power generation or related industry, with or without a degree.
• Senior/Sr Staff roles require more experience (8+/12+ years).

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to determine needs and priorities and develop plans to meet training needs.
• Research and analyze training needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, or consultations.
• Develop and edit classroom training materials and input into training content.
• Oversee and facilitate multi-skilled training courses, including CCCT and related maintenance practices.
• Apply evaluation models (e.g., Kirkpatrick) to measure training effectiveness.
• Update training courses and certification processes and maintain course history.
• Collaborate with partners to review training procedures and document plans.
• Participate in continuous improvement of training processes and systems.
