Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager on the PGS leadership team to own technical program management for part of the AWS power programs while driving cross-cutting strategy and controllership for Global Energy.

You will partner with engineering leads, Finance, Talent Acquisition, HR, and senior AWS leadership to ensure programs stay on track, align with roadmaps, and deliver measurable impact across energy infrastructure and sustainability efforts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
• Experience leading large-scale complex projects with senior leadership.
• Ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own technical program management for part of the AWS power program, including pipeline management, milestone tracking, senior leader engagement, and vendor coordination.
• Develop and maintain a multi-year strategic roadmap for Global Energy, translating priorities into annual execution plans.
• Lead controllership mechanisms, including headcount/resource planning, hiring tracking, and operating cadence.
• Develop and manage reporting for senior leadership on status, initiatives, and metrics; synthesize inputs into clear narratives.
• Build relationships with Finance, Talent Acquisition, HR, and partner delivery organizations to ensure Global Energy needs are represented in cross-organizational planning.
• Drive continuous improvement in Global Energy's operating mechanisms across teams.
• Represent PGS and Global Energy in senior forums, including off-sites, leadership reviews, and partner engagements.
