Job summary

GTN Technical Staffing seeks an experienced Power Generation Operations Manager to provide owner-side leadership for a natural-gas-fired facility supporting a mission-critical computing environment.

This role oversees outsourced O&M, establishes operating expectations, drives safety and reliability, and ensures plant uptime targets are met through close coordination with engineering and external service providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in power-generation with natural-gas-fired experience.
• Experience governing outsourced power-plant O&M providers.
• Strong knowledge of gas turbines and/or reciprocating engines.
• Experience with balance-of-plant, protection, controls, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee owner-side authority for power-generation operations and outsourced O&M execution.
• Provide strategic direction, oversight, and performance governance to the O&M provider.
