Job summary

LITEON seeks a Sr Power Field Application Engineer in Milpitas, CA, on-site to bridge Asia engineering with major Americas accounts. You will own first-level failure analysis, drive NPI cycles, and support on-site testing and debugging of AC/DC and DC/DC power systems.

Travel domestically and internationally as needed; work closely with commercial teams to translate engineering realities into actionable customer insights and keep high reliability in power delivery for data centers and servers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Field Application Engineering, Power Design, or power electronics.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC, DC/DC power supplies and analog design.
• Hands-on hardware debugging with lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical bridge between Asia engineering and enterprise customers in the Americas.
• Lead first-level failure analysis and drive NPI cycles.
• Collaborate with Asia teams to validate specs and on-site testing.
• Perform lab diagnostics and on-site rework of power electronics systems.
• Identify design risks and guide topology choices for reliability.
