Job summary

Entergy Texas, Inc.-GTX seeks an Engineer I–Sr to provide engineering oversight across power generation environments, including plants, plant support, and fleet maintenance. Role involves NERC compliance activities and project oversight.

Successful candidates will guide plant staff, coordinate capital and O&M projects, and support technical interfaces with equipment OEMs and external firms. Onsite work in Texas is typical.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering is required.
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the Plant NERC Champion and coordinate testing with Compliance Technicians.
• Assist self-certification process for NERC standards.
• Provide guidance to plant staff on NERC-related tasks.
