Job summary

Anduril is seeking a senior electrical power systems owner for its Real Estate & Facilities portfolio. You will be the go-to expert before a site is sited, during design, and for a decade of operation, influencing grid and backup architecture.

This hands-on role requires load modeling, interconnection strategy, and coordination with designers, utilities, and operations. Occasional travel (25–40%) to active project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical power systems with ownership of medium‑voltage distribution and backup power.
• Experience taking projects from load study through utility interconnection to energization.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 110, IEEE standards and arc flash studies.
• Proven track record negotiating with utilities on service, tariffs, and extensions.
• Ability to build and defend a load model using equipment lists and duty cycles.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs, CMMS, and reliability standards.

Responsibilities

• Own power narrative for new sites from diligence through commissioning.
• Right-size demand, build load models, and defend numbers to designers and utilities.
• Define interconnection strategy, metering, transformers, and staging for early occupancy.
• Define backup/ resiliency architecture with generators, UPS, and storage.
• Review electrical design packages for sizing and maintainability.
• Lead power readiness for capital plans and schedule risk mitigation.
• Partner on preventive maintenance programs and CMMS integration.
• Develop standards and playbooks for repeatable power work across sites.
• Negotiate with utilities and manage interconnection queues across the portfolio.
