Job summary

Vicor Corporation, an American manufacturer of advanced 48V centric DC-DC converters, seeks a Senior Product Development Engineer to own key aspects of the product lifecycle, contributing to innovation and execution across design, validation, and customer interaction.

You will develop system test plans, bench automation, model and tool development, and collateral for successful product launches, while partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Design teams to ensure seamless execution and maximum

Qualifications

5+ years in power electronics design and/or applications.
Strong analog engineering background and analytical skills.
Proficiency with MATLAB, LTspice, SIMPLIS, Altium, Power DC/Power SI.
HDI PCB design experience is a plus.
Ability to present complex topics to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Strategic product definition translating market/customer needs into requirements.
Lead NPI from concept to RTP and manage design validation.
Develop test plans, bench automation, and system verification.
Provide technical guidance for development and customer integration.
Create datasheets, reference designs, and application notes for launches.
