Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Sr. Power Electronics Engineer (Starship) to advance high‑reliability power electronics for spaceflight. You will own DC‑DC converter designs, power distribution, and fault-tolerant architectures in a fast‑paced hardware environment.

Qualifications

5+ years designing, building, or testing circuit boards or electronics.
Experience with high-reliability hardware, preferably spaceflight.

Responsibilities

Rapidly develop high-reliability electronics for rockets and spacecraft.
Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, analysis, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, and test.
Design, analyze, and test DC-DC power converters and distribution for harsh environments.
Collaborate with other teams to improve efficiency, manufacturability and reliability.
