Requires 5+ years in power electronics, hands‑on DC/DC converters, motor drives, and robust industrial designs.

You will lead hardware bring‑up, testing, and collaboration with vendors to ensure reliability and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience designing power electronics.
• Hands-on experience with DC/DC converters, motor drives, and battery-powered electronics.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics components and power PCB layout.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop power electronics systems, including DC/DC converters, power distribution circuits, and motor drive electronics for robotic applications.
• Define power architectures, evaluate component selections, and perform trade studies to optimize efficiency, performance, thermal management, and reliability.
• Develop schematics and PCBAs for power conversion, motor control, and power management systems from concept through production release.
• Perform circuit simulation, power integrity, thermal analysis, and design validation to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Design and integrate power electronics components, including MOSFETs, gate drivers, voltage regulators, and current/voltage sensing circuits.
• Collaborate with mechanical, controls, software, and systems teams to define power requirements, electrical interfaces, and system integration.
• Lead hardware bring-up, debugging, testing, and validation of power electronics assemblies and integrated robotic systems.
• Partner with vendors and manufacturers to support component sourcing, PCB fabrication, assembly, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
