Job summary

Fourier is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to design and develop high power electrical systems for our electrolyzer technology. You will own power converters, contribute to architectural decisions, and lead bench‑top bring‑up and verification of designs.

The role requires hands‑on lab work, development of isolation and grounding schemes, and ensuring designs meet UL/IEC/IEEE safety standards. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; Masters is a plus.
• Knowledge of power conversion circuits and topologies.
• Experience designing high power systems and safety standards compliance.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Explore and develop architectural concepts for high power electrical systems (>100 kW, AC-DC).
• Drive converter topology validation and bench testing.
• Design power converters up to 50 kW for system integration.
• Produce clear Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) communicating topology and protection.
• Develop protection, isolation, and grounding schemes; manage lab bring-up.
• Oversee procurement and assembly of hardware and lab verification.
