Qualifications

• Experience designing power electronics boards for high‑voltage DC systems (10KW+).
• Ability to lead architecture, topology selection, and thermal management strategies.
• Strong system‑level thinking and stakeholder influence across cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test multi-layer power electronics boards (10KW+ HV DC).
• Define and execute power electronics component architecture and thermal management.
• Lead test plans for EMI, environmental resilience, and functional safety (DO-160/DO-274).
• Ensure IP ratings for deployment environments.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to align on design trade-offs.
• Provide time-based estimates and manage milestones through product lifecycle.
• Produce design documentation: schematics, specs, analyses, test results.
• Contribute to design reviews with constructive feedback.
• Identify risks early and propose cost/performance/schedule trade-offs.
• Develop firmware/software/scripts to aid development/testing.
