Job summary

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Materials Planning Manager to own the long-lead equipment planning and delivery for AWS data centers. You will drive forecast accuracy, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation while partnering with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will serve as the primary escalation point for post-delivery challenges at construction sites and lead cross-functional collaborations across a diverse, global team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading long-lead equipment planning for data centers.
• Strong forecast accuracy and milestone tracking abilities.
• Ability to identify, communicate, and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Single-threaded leader for LLE planning and delivery execution.
• Own rolling 3-year forecast for LLE with partners to capture requirements.
• Monitor milestones from forecast through delivery and commissioning.
• Track supplier delivery against need-by dates and manage risk registers.
• Escalate issues and lead war-room sessions for critical construction challenges.
• Help ensure data center delivery on schedule and within cost constraints.
