Job summary

Insightsoftware, a global provider of reporting and analytics solutions, seeks a Sr. Solutions Engineer for the Power ON product to support pre‑sales, technical discovery, and demos in North America.

You will work directly with customers to scope, design, and demonstrate solutions, leveraging Power BI, DAX, SQL, and data modeling. The role requires 5+ years in a customer-facing capacity, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and the ability to translate complex analytics into clear demos and

Qualifications

5+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or analytics role.
Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
Strong Power BI modeling, DAX, SQL and dashboard development.

Responsibilities

Build expertise in analytics and reporting solutions with Power BI integrations.
Partner with Power ON account executives to understand prospect requirements and position the right solution.
Deliver demos that illustrate how our platform solves business problems across industries.
Guide prospects through discovery and design processes, leveraging Power BI and SQL skills to prototype and propose solutions.
Assist in technical portions of RFP responses, statements of work (SOWs), and project scoping documentation.
Share field insights with Product, Services, and Engineering to inform roadmap prioritization and improve solution‑market fit.
