PTR Global seeks a Senior Power BI Developer to lead end-to-end reporting and analytics, mentoring junior developers and driving complex projects.

The role requires advanced Power BI development, strong data modeling, and proficiency with GitHub and Python. Agile and ETL experience are preferred for delivering scalable BI solutions in a hybrid Charlotte, NC environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytic development experience.
• 4+ years of Tableau and Power BI experience.
• Automation experience is essential.

• ETL experience and data governance awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Automate data validation, testing, and UAT processes.
• Automate refreshes, monitoring, and data quality controls.

Job Description

• Seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to lead the design, development, and automation of end-to-end reporting and analytics solutions.
• This role requires a confident, self-driven technical leader who can mentor junior developers, drive complex projects independently, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
• The ideal candidate will have advanced Power BI development experience, strong data modeling and documentation skills, and proficiency with GitHub and Python.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and ETL processes is preferred. Candidates should be proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of delivering scalable, high-impact business intelligence solutions.
• This role leads design and automation of the end-to-end development cycle to create Power reports and dashboards.
• The candidate will use expertise in Power BI, data integration, modeling, and analytics to build scalable business intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities include

• Optimize Power BI data models and implement data quality, lineage, security, and governance controls.
• Optimize semantic models, metadata, and business definitions to improve AI-driven analytics and natural language query experiences.
