Trissential, LLC is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer for a fully remote role based in the United States. You will design, implement, and govern enterprise Power BI environments, build advanced dashboards, and mentor teams while collaborating with executives and business units across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or Power BI development.
• 5+ years of advanced Power BI development experience.
• Strong expertise with Power BI Service administration and enterprise reporting environments.
• Experience designing interactive dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Azure SQL Server experience and data source integration.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Excellent communication with senior executives and business leaders.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills across formal and informal settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a stable, scalable Power BI Service environment.
• Develop intuitive dashboards and reporting solutions for diverse business users.
• Create complex custom Power BI visuals based on requirements.
• Perform data validation to ensure data accuracy across datasets.
• Collaborate with developers to enhance reporting functionality and governance.
• Gather requirements and lead technical discussions with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and standards.
• Deliver Power BI training, mentorship, and co-development sessions.
• Ensure reports meet performance, accessibility, security, and compliance requirements.
• Configure access controls, security models, and governance within the environment.
• Develop data refresh strategies leveraging Azure SQL Server and other sources.
• Provide project status updates to stakeholders and clients.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for long-term sustainability.
