Job summary

Coforge Limited is seeking a highly experienced Power BI Senior Developer to lead architecture, design, and end-to-end implementation of enterprise BI solutions. The role focuses on scalable, cloud-native analytics aligned with modern data platforms.

The candidate will drive standards and governance, ensure secure data modeling, and mentor BI teams while collaborating with Data Engineering to align warehouse structures with reporting needs. A strong leadership presence is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of BI and analytics experience, with 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development and architecture experience.
• Strong expertise in semantic modeling and dataset design, DAX development, and performance tuning.
• Experience with deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and DevOps practices for BI solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL and REST APIs / embedded analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Power BI solutions across reporting and analytics initiatives.
• Design scalable semantic models using dimensional modeling, star schemas, and optimized relationships.
• Champion advanced Power BI visual patterns to transform data into actionable insights.
• Support migration or coexistence with SAP BI environments (WebI, Universes).
• Translate SAP BO reports into optimized Power BI datasets and dashboards.
• Define and enforce Power BI standards, governance, and naming conventions.
• Develop advanced DAX calculations and optimize model performance for large datasets.
• Architect and implement capabilities like aggregations, incremental refresh, RLS, and dataflows.
• Design and manage Power BI deployment pipelines across Dev/Test/Prod with CI/CD.
