Deseret Mutual Benefits Administrators in Utah seeks a highly experienced Power BI Architect / Senior Engineer to establish and mature an enterprise Power BI environment. This 12-month contract includes the possibility of a 12-month extension, with in-office work on Mondays and Tuesdays in a hybrid schedule.

The role blends architectural leadership with hands-on delivery, partnering with our BI/ETL team to build scalable production solutions, set standards, and teach modern development practices

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience designing, implementing, administering, and supporting enterprise Power BI environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise BI and data architecture.
• Experience establishing development standards and governance practices.
• Experience troubleshooting complex Power BI platform and development issues.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as both an architect and hands-on developer.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and technical training skills.

Responsabilités

• Architect and mature enterprise Power BI environment, establish governance and security standards.
• Design workspace, content and app organization strategies.
• Lead development, deployment, monitoring, and support practices for Power BI.
• Build production-grade reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
• Mentor teams and enable knowledge transfer for self-sufficiency.
