Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer in Chantilly, VA to design, develop, and support enterprise BI solutions. You will work with Power BI, SSAS Tabular, and SSRS, collaborating with DBAs, data engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics that drive data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Power BI development, 10+ years in BI/EDW, strong SQL skills, and experience with Azure Data Lakes and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power BI.
• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise data warehouse and BI environments.
• 5+ years of experience with SSRS.
• 5+ years of experience with SSAS.
• Experience with Power BI administration, security, governance, and user management.
• Experience with Azure Data Lakes, Dataflows, and modern analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise BI solutions using Power BI, SSAS Tabular, SSRS.
• Lead requirements gathering, solution architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Develop and govern enterprise semantic models with measures, hierarchies, KPIs, and RLS.
• Create advanced DAX calculations and optimized data models for performance.
• Deliver executive dashboards and interactive reports with best practices.
