Job summary

Stock Group Analytics in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Data Analysis SME to design, develop, and deliver enterprise analytics solutions, including KPI dashboards, real-time visualizations, and advanced analytics products for Government stakeholders.

You will lead dashboards in Power BI, define KPIs, perform trend analyses, implement ETL with SQL/Python, migrate reports from legacy tools, and enable self-service analytics while guiding data visualization best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in data-related field; master's preferred.
10+ years in data analytics and KPI dashboards.
CompTIA Security+ certification required; Power BI cert preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and develop interactive, real-time dashboards using Power BI for executive and operational stakeholders.
Define and document KPIs aligned with Government objectives.
Perform deep-dive and trend analyses on historical data to uncover actionable patterns.
Implement data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy.
Develop ETL processes using SQL, Python, or Azure Data Factory.
Migrate reports from legacy tools (Tableau, Excel) to Power BI and enable self-service analytics.
Integrate predictive analytics models into visualization tools.
Provide guidance on data visualization best practices.
Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from Government leadership.
Document KPI formulas, data sources, and dashboard configurations.
Conduct training sessions for Government personnel on analytics tools and capabilities.
