Job summary

Sigma Connectivity Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Embedded Systems Engineer with a focus on power characterization, battery modeling, and power-performance optimization on Qualcomm-based or similar embedded platforms.

The role is hardware-first with embedded firmware and requires robust Linux/Android system software knowledge to analyze software-driven power and performance issues. You will work hands-on with schematics, lab equipment, and model validation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years Embedded Systems experience.
• Deep understanding of Android Power Management.
• Strong Embedded Linux experience.
• Experience with Android Framework, HAL, Kernel, and Driver debugging.
• Experience with power measurement equipment.
• Experience with system-level power characterization.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on power measurement and debug activities.
• Work directly from product schematics to understand power architecture.
• Build and execute structured test matrices for operating modes and power states.
• Diagnose power anomalies by correlating electrical measurements with system behavior.
• Analyze Android power consumption across active, idle, sleep, suspend, and deep‑sleep states.
• Present actionable recommendations to hardware, firmware, Android, and systems teams.
