Job summary

Foster Farms Porterville is seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead operations for a facility of about 350 team members across production, distribution, warehousing, sanitation, maintenance, safety and plant performance. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of progressive management within the poultry industry, including RTE, and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Strong budgeting, staffing and cost analysis skills are required, along with excellent communication and leadership

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive management experience within the poultry industry, ready to eat (RTE) required.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, preferred.
• Financial understanding including budgeting, staffing, and cost analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and drive.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote, Enable, Facilitate and Drive Team Member Safety and Food Safety.
• Maintain reliable workforce and positive team member relations.
• Develop short-term and long-term production goals; monitor cost and quality to protect margins.
• Provide direction to align safety programs with company goals and values.
