Job summary

SilkRoad seeks an experienced Senior Managing Post Award Officer to manage the financial and reporting lifecycle of a research portfolio. You will review cost transfers, prepare reports, and ensure sponsor compliance while working with faculty and administrators.

You will act independently to resolve complex issues, leveraging your knowledge of federal and non-federal regulations and university policies, with an emphasis on collaboration and accuracy.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of related work experience in research administration or post-award financial management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; substantial, direct post-award experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial and reporting aspects of a portfolio, including cost transfers and award closeout activities.
• Review and approve cost transfers and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Provide backup support to the Associate Director and ensure compliance with sponsor requirements.
