Job summary

CRG is seeking a Business Systems Analyst IV for a hybrid, 4-month contract-to-hire position in the Salisbury area. This senior role focuses on delivering reliable POS and Payments technology across multiple platforms to Retail Operations, Payments, and Finance.

You will partner with product owners, architects, and vendors to translate business needs into scalable solutions, ensuring security, compliance (PCI), and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience driving solution design, system integration, and end-to-end delivery.
• Experience in large-scale retail environments (grocery or fuel preferred).
• Strong knowledge of credit/debit payments ecosystem and authorization flows.
• Experience with POS systems, payment gateways, or payment devices.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, configuration, integration, and implementation of POS and Payments solutions across multiple platforms.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of medium to large initiatives, including discovery, requirements, design, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to business and IT objectives.
• Provide hands-on expertise in system configuration, integration patterns, and troubleshooting.
• Serve as a SME for POS and Payments systems, including payment processing flows and device interactions.
• Drive solution design decisions with architects and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product owners to refine backlogs and user stories.
• Maintain relationships with vendor partners and external service providers.
• Participate in incident bridge calls and root-cause analysis for production issues.
