Job summary

NTU International A/S invites applications for a Senior Non-Key Expert – Ports and Shipping Specialist to support technical advisory assignments in maritime and inland waterways. The role targets complex infrastructure projects, feasibility studies, and master planning, with at least 15 years in maritime sectors and proven experience with public authorities and development partners.

Start: January 2027; duration: 48 months.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in maritime engineering, maritime sciences, port engineering, transport engineering or logistics.
15+ years general professional experience in the maritime sector.
Excellent knowledge of maritime and inland waterways sectors and related policies.
English at C1 level mandatory; French and Spanish skills are assets.

Responsibilities

Identify, prepare and implement maritime, port and inland waterways projects.
Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments, project design reviews and investment analyses.
Support port and logistics master planning, connectivity and multimodal transport integration.
Advise on port infrastructure development and green decarbonisation measures.
Support capacity building for public authorities, port authorities, operators and other stakeholders.
