Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Engineer–Ports & Marine to lead complex infrastructure projects in Florida. The role requires independent engineering judgment, strong heavy civil background, and coordination with clients, design-build teams, and construction management staff to ensure functional, durable facilities.

Port/marine projects leadership, client relationship management, and responsibility for project delivery, schedules, and financial performance are key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8 years of progressive project management experience in ports, marine, or heavy civil infrastructure.
• Active Florida PE license or ability to obtain within assignment timeframe.
• Valid US Driver's License to visit project sites.

Responsibilities

• Review submittals, drawings, and substitutions for compliance.
• Evaluate RFIs and coordinate technical input.
• Assess change orders and field modifications for justification and cost/schedule impact.
• Lead ports, marine, and coastal infrastructure projects from planning to delivery.
