Summary

The Specialty Finance team is a dedicated national lending group focused on providing highly monitored asset-based, tailored debt capital solutions to non-bank financial services companies across a wide variety of asset classes in addition to cash flow-based lending for middle market companies across a wide variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Actively collaborates with Relationship Managers (RM) to call on current and potential clients to understand their capital needs; Identifies cross-sell opportunities.
• Screens opportunities, provides guidance on risk rating, evaluates transaction risks and mitigants, recommends proper credit structures, and prepares thoughtful credit memos while ensuring alignment with the Bank’s risk appetite.
• Partners with Credit Analysts (CA) and RM to lead the credit analysis, due diligence, underwriting, structuring, and ongoing portfolio management activities of relationships.
• Serves as a trusted partner to and interfaces with Credit as a primary point of contact.
• Oversight of legal documentation and post-approval diligence requirements.
• Maintains the timely engagement of all parties while properly delegating analysis components to the CA.
• Maintains satisfactory portfolio management metrics and ensures credit quality and servicing timeliness are pristine.
• Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and mentoring to junior associates of the team.

Qualifications Include

• Bachelor's Degree with 6-8 years of relevant credit/work experience required.
