Siemens Financial Services (SFS) is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to work in our Project Finance (PF) team, focusing on energy, infrastructure, and small projects/distributed generation sectors.

You will monitor a diverse portfolio of borrowers, ensuring compliance with internal risk guidelines and providing updates on borrower performance and credit risk. Responsibilities also include evaluating amendments, waivers, and consent requests, maintaining borrower monitoring systems, and supporting the credit approval process.

The position is located in Iselin, NJ or New York, NY, with a hybrid work environment.

Additional responsibilities include:

1. Communicating issues within the PF team.
2. Monitoring construction projects and managing funding requests.
3. Understanding the energy and renewable energy markets, including technology, operations, financing structures, and market risks.
4. Reviewing budgets and financial models.
5. Preparing reports for the investment team and management.
6. Maintaining contact with customers to monitor performance.
7. Updating credit files per SFS policy.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS/BA in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project finance, renewable energy, or infrastructure, with experience in sales, risk, or portfolio management.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with legal processes, including bankruptcy.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team interaction skills.
• Ability to work under high volume and time pressure.
• Learning agility, flexibility, energy, and initiative.

Compensation:

The pay range is $120,540-$248,040 plus an annual incentive, depending on experience and location.
