Job summary

Cazenove Capital, the wealth management arm of Schroders, is seeking a Portfolio Director in Edinburgh to grow and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients with strategic investment advice and exceptional service.

You will gradually assume day-to-day ownership of intermediary relationships and discretionary portfolios, delivering oversight within governance and risk frameworks while mentoring a team of investment professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CFA or CFP is highly desirable.
• Extensive experience in wealth or investment management.

Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management: build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients and understand goals.
• Portfolio Management: develop and implement bespoke investment strategies aligned with objectives.
• Market Analysis: conduct research to inform investment decisions.
• Team Leadership: mentor and lead investment professionals.
• Business Development: pursue new opportunities to grow client base and assets under management.
• Compliance: ensure activities meet regulatory requirements and internal policies.
