Job summary

Greenkey Resources LLC seeks a senior Controller for Portfolio Accounting to lead accounting and reporting for a diversified real estate portfolio. You will manage direct investments, joint ventures, and fund-level reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance across audits and regulatory requirements.

Collaborating with asset management, corporate accounting, and external auditors, you will drive performance metrics, budgeting, and strategic planning while guiding a talented team of assistants

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA certification highly preferred.
• Experience in real estate portfolio accounting or audit is essential.
• Proficiency with Excel and data management tools; MRI or Yardi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and reporting for direct real estate investments and joint ventures.
• Review quarterly consolidations, financial statements, and client reporting processes.
• Manage year-end audits and ensure timely financial statement preparation.
• Oversee compliance with debt agreements and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with corporate accounting teams to align performance metrics and budgets.
• Supervise assistant controllers and portfolio accountants, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with asset management teams to align financial strategies with portfolio objectives.
• Engage with external auditors, tax professionals, and legal advisors for compliance and planning.
