Solar Landscape is seeking a Senior Portfolio Accountant to own portfolio accounting, reporting, and financing transactions across multiple solar projects. You’ll manage budgeting, forecasting, audit prep, and compliance activities while coordinating with investments, legal, and asset management teams.

You will lead complex cash distributions, debt service calculations, and capital accounting, enabling scalable reporting for lenders and investors in a fast‑growing renewable energy company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in finance, business, or a related field, a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years across portfolio management, investment banking, or project finance.
• Experience with debt and partnership agreements, covenants, DSCR testing, and distributions.
• Hands‑on experience with operating phase of infrastructure assets, especially solar, is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead budget vs. actual and variance analysis; translate results into actionable recommendations.
• Prepare and distribute management reporting packages for leadership, investors, lenders.
• Support budgets and forecasts for managed portfolios.
• Own onboarding of new projects and financing transactions and related funding entries.
• Support debt and tax equity fundings from draw to close and lender reporting.
• Coordinate financial close with investments, legal, and asset management.
• Own recurring compliance calendar: covenants, DSCR testing, reserves, distributions.
• Calculate debt service, partner and investor distributions, and cash waterfalls.
• Maintain and reconcile partner and capital accounts; track contributions and allocations.
• Prepare work papers and interfaces for external auditors and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with project agreements and regulatory requirements.
• Identify process improvements to scale close, fundings, and compliance.
• Mentor junior staff and lead cross‑functional initiatives as the business grows.
• Collaborate across internal teams and external parties to drive results.
