Job summary

LaSalle is seeking a Senior Portfolio Accountant to lead accounting and reporting for one or more debt portfolios, applying Fair Value GAAP. You will report to the Portfolio Controller and drive financial analysis and process improvements.

Required 4–6 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA preferred. This on-site Chicago role offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities within LaSalle Debt Investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• CPA designation strongly preferred and expected to be pursued.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
• Prepare and post journal entries and consolidation files.
• Lead AI-driven process improvements in accounting and reporting.
• Review monthly financials and NAV packs for clients.
• Coordinate quarterly/annual reporting and tax requirements.
• Work with LaSalle Treasury on cash transactions.
• Provide timely responses to client inquiries and improve reporting efficiency.
