AECOM is seeking a Senior Port/Rail Engineer – Project Manager to be based in Raleigh, NC, Wilmington, NC or North Charleston, SC. You will oversee delivery of Port, Rail, and Goods Movement projects across the region, leading multi-disciplinary teams and serving as a technical lead and client liaison.

The role emphasizes project delivery, leadership, and business development within the Goods Movement/Port and Marine practice, with opportunities to shape infrastructure across the southeast.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng.) license required.
• Experience with Port/Marine and Freight Rail design preferred.

Aufgaben

• Serve as Project Manager and Technical Lead on complex, multi-disciplinary Port and Rail projects.
• Oversee the planning, design, and delivery of port cargo terminals, intermodal terminals, marine structures, freight rail, and related facilities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide quality assurance and ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Support the development of project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Foster a collaborative team culture and mentor engineering staff across disciplines.
• Represent AECOM at industry events and client meetings as a subject matter expert in Port and Goods Movement engineering.
• Support business development efforts and client engagement strategies.
