Hours/Days

Tuesday - Saturday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM.

Summary of the main function/purpose of the position
  • To perform maintenance and repairs for the property's aquatic facilities and Lifestyle building. To oversee the team of pool maintenance technicians.
  • Pool cleaning
  • Pool chemical balance
  • Special projects
Occasional duties or projects which may be performed at irregular intervals
  • Assisting tower and unit maintenance technicians.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the management.
Accountability: Areas in which the position is accountable/responsible

Records: Maintain accurate pool chemical records.

Safety: Perform all assigned tasks safely.

Customer Service: Assist owners and guests with any needs.

Dept Specific: Pool maintenance and repairs.

Supervisory Responsibility:

Educational and/or equivalent in experience requirements

High school diploma required. Vocational training preferred. CPO certification required. AA or AS degree is preferred. Pool maintenance experience required.

Specialized or technical educational requirements
  • Knowledge of pumps, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Extensive maintenance knowledge required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written instructions and reports.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise reports.
  • Simple mathematical skills: add, subtract, and divide; work with fractions.
  • Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions when furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
Certification or licensing requirements

CPO certification

Specialized equipment or machines used in the course of the duties of the position

Ability to operate power tools and hand tools.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and is required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk. The employee will often be required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. The employee will be required occasionally get in pools and hot tubs
