Boston Scientific Corporation, a global medical technology leader, is seeking a Supplier Engineer in Global Sourcing to lead resin and polymer component design and manufacturability. The role interfaces with supply chain, design, and process development to ensure timely, quality delivery of extruded components.

The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring in-office presence at least three days per week.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 5 years of polymer processing experience.
• Knowledge of analytical techniques used to investigate component defects.
• Understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and process optimization.
• Ability to travel up to 20% globally.

Responsabilidades

• Provide functional guidance for design and material selection of extruded components with cross-functional teams.
• Support development phase, qualification and production release activities.
• Collaborate with category team to review and sustain suppliers; source new suppliers as needed.
• Incorporate market trends to support category strategy and drive improvements.
• Plan and coordinate all project phases; lead engineers and cross-functional teams to qualify and improve supplier processes.
• Communicate project plans and progress to gain support and resources from management.
