Boston Scientific Corporation is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to drive corrective action and supplier performance improvement for external components used in medical devices. You will assess new suppliers, generate acceptance criteria, and train inspectors on incoming inspection procedures.

This role partners with Design Quality Assurance, R&D, Regulatory, and Sourcing to ensure QSR/ISO compliance, CAPA, and risk reduction across the supply chain while leading cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Chemistry or similar technical field.
• 5+ years of quality engineering experience in medical device manufacturing.
• Knowledge of QSR and ISO requirements for Material/Purchasing Controls, Product Realization, Validation and CAPA.
• ASQ Certified Supplier Quality Professional or Certified Quality Engineer preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess potential new suppliers for technical, quality and manufacturing capabilities.
• Provides technical support for the introduction of components from a new supplier.
• Generates and maintains incoming inspection procedures and trains inspectors to these procedures.
• Analyzes incoming material defects, dispositions and drives corrective action as necessary.
• Communicates issues to suppliers and investigates field failures related to supplier materials.
• Develops corrective action plans and collaborates with cross-functional teams to prevent recurrence.
