Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 5 years of polymer processing experience.
• Working knowledge of analytical techniques used to investigate component defects.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and/or process optimization.
• Ability to travel up to 20% globally.

Responsibilities

• Provide design guidance for extruded components and material selection in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Support development phases, qualification and production release activities.
• Partner with category team to review and sustain approved suppliers; source new suppliers as necessary.
• Incorporate market trends to support category strategy and drive improvements.
• Integrate new products and processes into existing manufacturing with minimal disruption and ensure timely supply of compliant components.
• Plan and coordinate all project phases; lead engineers and teams to qualify and improve supplier processes.
• Communicate project plans and progress with teams and stakeholders to gain support and resources.
