Qualifications

• PhD in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science or related field.
• Extensive expertise in polymer synthesis and structure–property relationships.
• Experience with silicones, adhesives, elastomers, and surfactant chemistry.
• Proven track record of translating research to commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, synthesis, and characterization of novel polymers and related materials.
• Investigate structure–property relationships to understand performance.
• Develop formulations optimizing performance, manufacturability, cost and IP position.
• Design and execute experiments using DOE and advanced statistics.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to move concepts to commercialization.
• Generate IP through invention disclosures and patent support.
• Maintain thorough documentation of procedures, results, and conclusions.
• Support scale‑up, field validation, and product deployment.
