Job summary

Anthro Energy seeks an experienced polymer R&D innovator to lead synthesis and formulation of Proteus electrolyte polymers for safer, higher-energy-density batteries. You will drive experiments, validate concepts in prototypes, and collaborate with cell engineering, manufacturing, and electrolyte teams to translate discoveries into manufacturable products.

Requirements include a PhD in Polymer Science (or MS with significant experience) and 3+ years of industry R&D.

Qualifications

• PhD in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science with 3+ years of industry R&D experience (or MS with 5+ years).
• Deep expertise in polymer synthesis and characterization, and polymer structure-property relationships in electrolytes, adhesives, elastomers or related fields.
• Experience with electrolyte chemistry, batteries, or electrochemical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new polymer synthesis processes and design experiments to demonstrate performance concepts.
• Translate goals into strategic experimental plans and communicate results to stakeholders for IP, proposals, and narratives.
• Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to scale up synthesis and processing.
