Job summary

Synertex LLC is seeking a Senior Policy Analyst to support a Bethesda, MD on-site program, providing leadership in project schedule, performance, and governance. The role requires direct coordination with Government officials and contractors to keep stakeholders informed and ensure program success.

The ideal candidate holds 14+ years in program management or PMO roles, with strong Agile Scrum experience, JIRA proficiency, and excellent communication skills. TS/SCI with poly and a B.S.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs as a project lead, experience in managing project schedule and performance.
• Directly contributes to project definition, requirements development and/or enhancement efforts including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities.
• Performs analysis of business and user needs, requirements, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper requirements specifications.
• Ensures proper performance of tasks and ability to block and tackle issues to achieve objectives.
• Utilizes communication skills to direct technical resources and report on progress, issues, and problem areas, and to write and review documents.
• Communicates status, requirements, metrics with leadership and customers.
• Maintain focus on organizing and managing time and resources for the program deliverables.
• Prepare Project status reviews and other formal reviews to be presented to the Government.
• Communicate issues and solutions to the Government PM in a timely and transparent manner.
• Ensure compliance with contract regulatory and administrative requirements in coordination with contracts staff.
• Develop/streamline processes to ensure mission accomplishment and program deliverables.
• Assist the SAIC PM by providing input to customer deliverable reports.

The successful candidate will support the direction of the program, develop, guide and monitor all aspects of schedule, administration and performance. They will also be responsible for coordination and collaboration with Government officials, to keep them informed and up to date on the program status.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Specifically support the following activities/functional areas:
• Prepare Project status reviews and other formal reviews to be presented to the Government.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements imposed by the contract in coordination with the Contractor's contracts staff.
• Develop/streamline processes to ensure mission accomplishment and program deliverables.
• Assist the SAIC PM by providing input to customer deliverable reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Active TS/SCI with poly is required.
• Minimum Education: B.S. or relevant experience in Program Management.
• 14+ years of related experience in program and project management and or business process analysis / PMO Analyst type of role.
• Experience using Agile Scrum Methodology and working knowledge of JIRA.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• IT knowledge and experience.
• Familiarity with Cloud technology desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• PMP preferred.
